Artur Rozmysłowicz


Born in Warsaw, here he also graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in the viola class of Błażej Sroczyński. In 2004-2006 he was a scholarship holder at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London in Jack Glickman’s master class. He is permanently affiliated with the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic – he leads the viola section. Member of the Lutosławski Quartet. He has honed his skills with Pinchas Zukerman, Michael Tree, Stefan Kamasa, Stefan Popov, as well as members of the Guarneri Quartet, Takács Quartet, Heine Quartet and the Silesian Quartet.

He has been invited to music festivals such as Warsaw Autumn, Ensemble Festival, Wratislavia Cantans, Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, Chain, Estate Musicale Frentana, Jazztopad, Pacific Music Festival (Sapporo, Japan), Paxos International Music Festival (Greece), Music on the Peaks, Chopin and his Europe, Musical Spaces, Tansmania, Clare Festival (Brussels). As a chamber musician he has also performed at theatre festivals, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, SESC Belenzinho (São Paulo). He has collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Basque National Orchestra, the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, the World Orchestra for Peace.

He has performed with many eminent conductors, including Jacek Kaspszyk, Gabriel Chmura, Michael Tilson Thomas, Valery Gergiev, Colin Davis, Yakov Kreizberg. He has performed in most countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas
