Composer of autonomous, theatrical, and film music. Graduate of the composition department at the Warsaw University of Music in the class of Professor Stanisław Moryto, as well as The Juilliard School of Music in New York in the class of Professor Christopher Rouse. Graduated with honors. Recipient of the Kosciuszko Foundation scholarship, winner of the Witold Lutosławski scholarship, as well as the Marvin Hamlisch scholarship and the Gretchaninoff Memorial Prize. Participated in master composition courses in Aspen, Colorado, conducted by, among others, Steve Mackie and John Corigliano.
