Sebastian Aleksandrowicz
Since 1996, soloist of the orchestra of the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw. Former oboist of the Gruppo di Tempera. He is a musician of the Amadeus Wind Ensemble, an ensemble bringing together musicians from Poland and the London Symphony Orchestra. As of 2019, he is the artistic director of the Warsaw Winds Plus Festival. Graduate of the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. From 2007 to 2014 he was the first oboist of the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra. He was also the first oboist of the Polish Radio Orchestra (2001-2003) and the National Philharmonic Orchestra (2005-2007). As a soloist and chamber musician, he has collaborated with such orchestras and ensembles as Opus Ensemble Seoul, Philharmonie der Nationen Hamburg, Morphing Chamber Orchestra Vienna, New Art Ensemble, Tokyo Solisten, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Sinfonia Varsovia, NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic, NFM Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonia Iuventus, Royal String Quartet, Lutoslawski Quartet, Hilliard Ensemble. He has performed in Poland, Spain, Germany, Austria, Russia, South Korea, Japan and Mexico.
